Dubuque Coffee Expansion Continues in Chicago
Ray Kondziela Joins as Chicago Regional Sales Director
February 12, 2018, St. Louis - Dubuque Coffee President and Founder Charles Dubuque announces the hiring of Raymond (Ray) Kondziela as Chicago Regional Sales Director.

Chicagoland area as our biggest growth opportunity over the next five years,” said Dubuque. “After growing the Chicago market for several years, we wanted someone who was solely dedicated to leading our team and serving our expanding Chicago customer base. I was committed to finding the right individual who best represents our people, our products and our mission. Ray is that right leader.”
Dubuque Coffee currently serves some of the most prestigious private clubs in the Chicagoland area as well as several premium breakfast houses. Uline Corporation and the Weathertech Corporation also serve Dubuque Coffee exclusively to their employees and guests at their respective headquarters. Dubuque Coffee has doubled its business from 2016 to 2017 in the Chicago market.
Dubuque felt it was critical to identify a dynamic individual who is passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to building relationships while representing a quality product. Kondziela has nearly 30 years in private club management and leadership. “At Dubuque Coffee, we are all about relationships,” explains Dubuque. “Ray has demonstrated exceptional leadership, understands client services and knows the inside and out of a fine culinary experience.”
Most recently, Kondziela was the General Manager and COO at the Ivanhoe Club, in Mundelein, IL. Kondziela oversaw $5.9 million expansions and renovations, coordinated a $2 million food and beverage department, grew club revenue, increased membership satisfaction levels and spearheaded marketing efforts to bolster the club’s prestigious brand position.
He also served as General Manager and COO at the Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli, PA and as General Manager at the White Manor Country Club in Malvern, PA.
Kondziela is a graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the Wharton School continuing business education program. He is a Certified Club Manager, Certified Club Executive, and the 2016 National Excellence in Club Management Award Recipient. He volunteers for Make a Wish Charities, First Tee Chicago and Toys for Tots.
